The Faculty of Business took its present shape in August 2005 to provide efficient and quality services to the rapidly growing number of students joining the Business streams of the University College, and meet the skilled workforce requirements of the labor market.

The Faculty is dedicated to the provision of quality education and training in the fields of Accounting, Business Management, Marketing Management and Secretarial Science and Office Management. Its office is located at Mexico Campus.

The Faculty has a Faculty Council, which is chaired by the Faculty Dean. All department heads are members of the council. The secretary of the council is elected from the members. Faculty Council meetings are held once in a fortnight. Issues pertaining to policy and institutional development are discussed and endorsed by the Faculty Council.
