Administrative Vice President’s Office

The Administrative Vice President provides support services to the various academic programs, thereby ensuring the smooth-running of the teaching-learning process. The office designs a plan of action that would enhance the institution-wide programs focusing on administrative matters.

As the highest responsible authority for the administrative and financial field of the University College, the Administrative Vice President is responsible for:

  1. Directing and coordinating the general limits of the administrative and financial activities of the University College;
  2. Elaborating the annual project of required budget;
  3. Promoting the creation of new financing resources;
  4. Advising the President on administrative matters

Facilitating the recruitment, promotion, and development of the University College staff.

Finance and Human Resource Management (FHRM)

The Finance and Human Resource Management (FHRM) provides essential administrative and finance related services to the University College community.

The FHRM comprises the offices of Finance, Personnel and General Services and Records. This office is responsible for providing management and leadership to the various units working under it as well as giving support to the accomplishment of other key missions of the University College.

The mission of the FHRM is providing the highest quality services to the SMUC community. It tries to create a supportive environment for students and staff, and is dedicated to fulfill the fundamental academic mission of the University College.

Goals & Objectives

FHRM has several broad goals that provide a framework for the responsibilities of the various units. These include customer-focused services, human resource development and high operational efficiency and productivity. To this end, the FHRM of SMUC has the following objectives:

  • To better serve internal and external stakeholders by maintaining and enhancing the administration’s commitment to continuously improve its services, and
  • To organize regular customer service training for all administrative staff of the University College

Organizational Set Up

FHRM is resourced and managed as an integrated operation. On a day-to-day basis, it is organized into two broad areas: Administrative Support Services and Financial Services.
