Faculty Councils
All faculties have their own Faculty Councils. The Faculty Councils deliberate on policy issues, academic affairs, and staff and institutional development. Faculty Councils are composed of all department heads under the respective faculties and the Faculty Dean, who is the chairperson of the Council. The secretary of the council is elected from the Council members. Faculty Council meetings are usually held once in a fortnight.
Department Councils
Each department has its own department council that comprises the head elected by the academic staff members of the department and all the academic staff members in the department. Department councils deliberate and endorse decisions on the academic as well as administrative activities of the department.
