SMUC has three libraries serving its students as well as academic and administrative staff. The libraries have systematically collected books, periodicals, newspapers, research materials, CD-Roms, and Audio recordings to support the teaching-learning process and research, and to respond to the needs of all members of the University College. The two libraries located in Mexico Campus are designated to Business, Law and IT Faculties, and the library for Faculty of Teacher Education is located in Lideta Campus. Multi-disciplinary books of diverse titles are available for students at the three libraries. The book store at the main campus lends reference books to students and instructors for longer periods than allowed by the libraries. With the view to provide distance learners with additional reference materials, the University College has so far managed to avail mini-libraries at a substantial number of the University College’s Coordinating Centers.
The University College libraries actively work in partnership with the Faculties of SMUC, the Addis Ababa University and the British Council Libraries.
