The Student Union is an independent body representing the generality of students at SMUC.
The objectives of the Union are to:
- Represent the interests of students of the University College, in matters affecting their common interest, both within and outside the University College;
- Provide a means of communication between students of the University College and other bodies;
- Address student rights and solve their problems;
- Create social and sport activities, improve information resources and attend any academic concerns of the student body; and
- Keep students informed of all University College affairs or other relevant news.
